Machine-wash your hi-vis apparel with like colours in cold water only. Use the “delicates” cycle on your washing machine with a mild detergent. Don’t wash jeans, work clothes or other rough fabrics (including those with hook-and-pile fasteners) when washing reflective or neon clothing. Never iron your hi-vis clothing, especially the reflective part of it. The reflective tapes or material can easily get damaged by the extreme heat of the iron, even if you do it inside out. If you want to get the wrinkles off, then you can use a steamer instead.
