National Minimum Wage Increase
In June the Fair Work Commission decided:
- the National Minimum Wage would increase to $1004.90 per week or $26.44 per hour.
- minimum award wages would increase by 4.75%.
These changes are effective from the first full pay period on or after 1st July 2026.
The Fair Work Ombudsman’s free Pay and Conditions Tool is currently being updated to reflect the new rates – they expect them to be completed before July 1st.
