NSW Fair Trading will take over the regulation of Commercial Agents from 1 July 2022 while Private Inquiry agents will become a new subclass of security licence and renamed Private Investigators.
You currently have the opportunity to give your feedback on the draft Fair Trading Amendment (Commercial Agents) Regulation, which will support the incoming Fair Trading Amendment (Commercial Agents) Act 2016.
